BRINCKA CROSS GARDENS
The Brincka Cross Gardens property was developed by an artist, and it is clear that this was his masterpiece. Bill Brincka was a professor at the Art Institute of Chicago, and his creativity can be seen throughout the gardens. Bill and his companion, Basil Cross, spent more than 40 years developing and nurturing four acres of landscaped gardens, which are surrounded by another 21 acres of pristine woodlands.

BROOKDALE PARK
Brookdale Park is a lovely small park which is currently in development. Mowed pathways circle an agricultural field and lead back to a large catch-and-release fishing pond. The pond is home to large-mouth bass, blue gill, crappies, and carp. The grassy area has picnic tables.

DUNN'S BRIDGE
The origin of Dunn's Bridge County Park has become the stuff of legend. The bridge is exceptional piece of county history and serves as an access point to some of the most unique environmental features in the area.

Park Rules
Our parks belong to all of us
Please help care for our parks and remember to do your part in keeping it clean and safe for everyone. Promote nature’s delicate balance by leaving all wildlife, plants, fossils, etc. where they are, without interference from humans or pets.
1. Keep pets on a leash no longer than 6 feet long and use pet waste stations.
2. Dispose of all litter in designated trash containers.
3. Leave fireworks and firearms at home.
4. Use bow and arrows only in the archery range (at Sunset Hill Farm County Park).
5. Gain approval from the parks department before displaying any signs or posters.
6. Leave ATVs and snowmobiles at home. Trails are for walking, running, or cross country skiing only.
7. Parks are open from dawn to dusk every day.
