Brookdale Park is a lovely small park which is currently in development. Mowed pathways circle an agricultural field and lead back to a large catch-and-release fishing pond. The pond is home to large-mouth bass, blue gill, crappies, and carp. The grassy area has picnic tables.

The parking lot is currently unmarked. It is a grassy lot near the train tracks overpass on 50 W. Future developments include the planting of native pollinators around the pond, signage, improvements to the parking area, more picnic tables, and benches.

There are no rental properties at Brookdale. It is open for all to enjoy from dawn to dusk for free.
