Camp FUNset 2018!

It may feel like summer is far away, but here at Porter County Parks & Recreation, we’ve been preparing for Camp FUNset for months. We’d like to share our enthusiasm with you. Register for camp online between February 23-25, 2018, and receive an Early Bird Discount: $10 off each week you register for. To register, go to http://portercountyparks.org and click on the registration link. Type “Camp” in the search box, and select the weeks of camp you’re interested in. 

Camp FUNset is designed for kids entering grades 1-8 in fall 2018. It is held at beautiful Sunset Hill Farm County Park at 775 Meridian Rd., Valparaiso, IN 46383. Camp is from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, and extended hours are available. 

Each week of camp is designed with fun and adventure in mind. There is a different theme each week and an exciting field trip. More information about the themes and field trips is available at the link above. Each week of camp includes STEM activities, archery, games, art, ropes course challenges, farm time with the animals and garden, character and leadership development, pizza Fridays, overnight camping for kids 3rd grade and up, special guides, wagon rides, and more.
